Lis' Senior Portraits

This fall I also did a senior shoot. My fiance's family got a hold of me and asked if I could do their foreign exchange student's senior photos. It was very fun and I got to learn so much about her. So, check it out, tell me what you think!

Jenni, these are awesome shots! I love the angled ones and the light was fantastic! What camera and lens(s) did you use for these if you don't mind me asking? Look forward to seeing more!

Hey Nikki! Thank you so much! I actually used two different cameras (and lens') for this shoot cuz I did it in two sessions. The first time I used the schools Canon XT and I cant remember exactly what that lens was at the moment.. I think a 28-70 with an fstop of 4 but i could be way wrong, and I think it was a tokina lens (my memory is really poor.) Those are the photos that she is in sioux center wearing jeans. The other photos in the green flowy shirt were taken in Nebraska with my new camera that I got just recently :) its a Canon 50D and the lens is a Canon 28-135 1:3.5-5.6 IS US. Haha if that makes sense? I love it to death. It wasn't a super way awesome nice lens but I'm saving up for that next someday...

Thanks!
Makes sense to me! I am trying to learn and "study" by experimenting with different lenses and I am looking at getting a camera so I was just interested in seeing what you had used. The pics turned out amazing! If you don't mind me asking, are you taking classes through school, or how did you get into photography? I am really interested and just kind of looking for my next "step" so to speak. Not like you have all the answers I know, but any help you can give would be much appreciated! Thanks!
