Pia

Pia is a foreign exchange student from Austria at the Ochsner house. I went to Kyle's house last weekend for a bridal shower and was surprised with a "Will you take Pia's senior photos? Today?" It was wonderful. I got to know her a little better and got some fun shots! Thanks Pia for this opportunity and I hope you enjoy your photos!

The Boonstra's

Spring has sprung and I am starting to catch up after not having a computer for about 3 months! These pictures were taken late December of the Boonstra family and I thought I would let you have a little look-see. They were such a fun family to work with and I especially enjoyed their 2 1/2 year old and his awesome impersonation of spider man!

Beautiful Wedding

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted. About 4 weeks ago my computer crashed and I am still with out. However I hate not posting and I didn't loose anything because I had it all backed up, so no worries to everyone :). There is a family portrait I did that I will add soon, I just wanted to do some final editing before I do so. However, I remembered a wedding that I was a photographer at two and a half years ago. It is the most beautiful wedding in my memory. This isn't because all of those other weddings haven't been beautiful, its because there is so much emotion for me in this one. The people that were married in this series are my cousin and his wife. The man with the red hair is my beloved uncle Carl who has then since passed away from cancer. This is an emotional post for me so I really hope you enjoy.
The setting of the wedding at Tut Hill Park
The mothers sitting and watching people get ready Brother Travis getting his flower pinned on by his new wife Thuy
So happy!
So very happy!
Uncle Carl and Aunt Theresa, proud parents
Brothers and Sisters :)
Chad and his new daughters
I love the way he is looking at her :)
Travis and Thuy were married not more than a month before this, so she brought her dress along and they had a joint reception
Grandpa John has passed away since then as well, he was a great man

Lis' Senior Portraits

This fall I also did a senior shoot. My fiance's family got a hold of me and asked if I could do their foreign exchange student's senior photos. It was very fun and I got to learn so much about her. So, check it out, tell me what you think!
