I have heard from a couple people that they keep checking my blog to see new stuff. This makes me so happy! I just wanted to let you know that there won't be anything new added for a little bit. My first priority is getting the photos to the customers, and I'm also getting a completely new website and blog. These will have plenty of new stuff for you to see so get excited!!! Its gonna be rock awesome!

Shout out!

Shout out to all of you in the Sioux County area! I just wanted to double reminder that I am still available for Weddings, and any other type of photography in the area! I will be in Sioux Center over Christmas for sure, but I love to have any reason to come home. I will not charge for travel if it is a wedding in the Iowa area so feel free to ask! Sioux Center, Le Mars, Sioux City, Sioux Falls, Sheldon, Hull, Boyden, Orange City, this means you! There are tons of towns that I have not mentioned so please, feel free to call or e-mail! Yes I am in Lubbock, Texas; but don't let yourself think that means that I don't miss the rolling hills of Iowa.

Don't Remember what my Awesome Wedding Announcement Looked Like?

Well here it is on my blog finally. Yes, I loved it. I made it myself, back when we were engaged in 2009. I also want to thank Vanessa Bartels for taking my engagement pictures for me. Soon I will give you an update of what my new album, that I'm so selfishly making for myself, looks like. (It is actually going to be a present for someone, shh.) Ah, I love to design! Quick Update

Kelsie, Kyle and Konner

These are some impromptu pictures of the Gesink kids that I was able to get on the 4th of July! Kyle and Konner are twins, and Kelsie is their older sister. I can hold up a picture of Kyle next to a picture of my husband Kyle at his age, and if I didn't take the picture I may not know who was who! They look exactly alike!

Kelsie ready to eat her s'more. Which reminds me; I believe it was Kyle who, after roasting his marshmallow, brought it to his mom and said "Mom I want a s'more now, but I want just the chocolate and graham crackers, what do you want me to do with this?" As he pointed at his roasted marshmallow.

The Houge Family

Website Update

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I am updating my website! I felt bad because I just found out that people didn't know that I offer the option of having a 2nd shooter! I also offer maternity shoots, teenager shoots, senior portraits, family portraits, team shoots, child portraits, and many more! Feel free to ask!

I always say "I had so much fun on this photo shoot!" Even though I say that its so very true! Meghan and Josh were such a blast to photograph! It was so fun hearing about how they first met. Congrats on graduating Josh!

There are so many great places to take pictures in Lubbock. I had so much fun with Jerome and his family taking these pictures. What a beautiful family!

I am proud to say that this little man is my nephew! I drove 12 hours to see him and it was completely worth it. He was one month early and weighed 5lbs 15oz. His loving parents asked me to take some photos of him. He was such a joy to be around and I am delighted to share a little bit of him with you.
